Acai Cauli Smoothie Bowl

When I was in America I became obsessed with Acai bowls! I loved them! This is the closest one I have made to them. You may be thinking “cauliflower in a smoothie bowl?”. I promise you that you won’t even know its there. The frozen steamed cauliflower gives the bowl a lovely creamy texture and the berries give it a sweetness. Give it a try and I bet you will agree with me!

Ingredients:

170g Frozen Cauliflower (steamed first until soft and then frozen)

130g Mixed Frozen Berries

130g of Milk of choice (Use non-dairy milk if required)

30g of Protein (I used Noway Chocolate Caramel Fudge) *

1 Tsp Acai Powder

10g Immunity Powder (I used Tropeaka) (optional)

5g Maca Powder (optional)

Sprinkle of Cinnamon (optional)

5g Honey (optional – may need it to sweeten depending on your protein powder)

* Note: Vanilla protein would also work well in this recipe.

Method:

1) Add all the ingredients to a blender (I used a nutribullet)

2) Blend until smooth (you may need to stop and scrape down the sides a couple of times).

3) Place in a bowl and top with desired toppings.

Serve and Enjoy!
