Recently there has been a craze about tahini dressings on salads. Personally I tasted tahini and found I didn’t actually like the taste but I was determined to come up with a dressing I liked so I could understand the craze everyone was on about. I ended up coming up with this simple recipe and it’s amazing on top of a salad or some meat such as chicken. It can be made in a large batch and just poured over your food when desired!
100g Almond Milk
5g Honey (substitute for agave or maple if vegan)
25g Dried Dates
Pinch of salt
1) Soak the dried dates in some boiling water for 5 minutes.
2) Drain the dates and place all ingredients into a blender.
3) Blend until smooth.
Heat or serve cold over your favourite salad or meat and enjoy!
