Sweaty Circuit 1

I love to incorporate one day of cardio into my workout schedule for the week, however sometimes I want to sweat and get my heart rate up but I don’t want to go for a run, do sprints, cycle etc so I like to use circuits. These are a great way to incorporate some cardio and get yourself sweaty and out of breath without having to stay on a particular machine for a long period of time or if you don’t enjoy or feel like doing “regular” cardio.

This circuit is great because you only complete each exercise 4 times in total which I find makes the time fly by!
It requires minimal equipment and if you don’t have a certain piece of equipment just swap the exercise for an alternative one!

Instructions:

The circuit is composed of 10 exercises.

You complete each exercise in the circuit once for 45 seconds and then rest for 15 seconds.

You then repeat the circuit 4 times with no break in between rounds (It takes 40 minutes in total).

** Note you can screen shot the workout so you have it with you to follow!

I use a free timer app on my iPhone that I set for 45 seconds work and 15 seconds rest so I don’t have to keep my eye on the clock.
